Students need engaging centers to learn English Language Arts. Center activities will help promote literate, reading skills, and writing skills. These activities will help promote ELA skills in the classroom. It is important for children to be engaged in reading and writing activities daily, especially in activities that promote independence and use manipulatives. ELA center activities will allow students to take control of their education and help solidify ELA content. Activities that allow students to build and read words independently will build a strong sense of independence and confidence. The touch and read phonics set will especially help students strengthen their phonemic awareness through sound out and blending letters to form words.
