We are the proud North Middle School Eagles! This project will allow each to student demonstrate their personality by crafting their own eagle feather. All of the feathers will then be hung together to represent the wings of an eagle. Each student will design their own eagle feather allowing them to showcase their uniqueness, while also symbolizing that when we combine our talents into the wings of an eagle, we can all soar. Students will start by painting their feather, then use a template to trace a feather design, and cut out the feather. The last step is to use the white chalk markers to create a design on the feathers. Students will create the feathers in their homeroom classes as part of our social and emotional education. The project falls under self-awareness.
