This project will help give my students the best Kindergarten graduation and moving up ceremony... virtually! During the school year, my students have learned so much academically, socially, and emotionally. They've made friends in class and looked forward to learning together in groups. As a testament to their dedication and hard work, I want to show each child how their efforts and individual progress have not been forgotten. With your help, the children will be able to see how much they've grown in just one year and how significant it is to be moving on to the next grade in our virtual Kindergarten/Moving Up ceremony.
The cap and gown would be given to my Kindergarten students to commemorate completing their first year of school and to celebrate their accomplishments from the year. Every child would be given a book, Only One You, with a message that encourages adapting to different situations while remaining true to their uniqueness. Back in school, my class loved molding and creating with play doh. They especially loved to make pizza, or spaghetti, or sandwiches from scratch. The students would be thrilled to receive a play doh set of their own to create their own "foods." Thank you in advance for your generosity and kindness to consider my project. Your donation today will allow these children's Graduation and Moving Up ceremony be truly special and exciting!
