Storyworks contains all sorts of articles that are of high interest to students. As a reading teacher, I know how much difference a high interest piece of literature makes in the child’s reading education. Having a periodical that engages, entertains, and informs about current topics is an added bonus. This resource will be used both in print and digital form to aid students in the classroom and learning at home. I will also use it for small groups, to hone in on particular reading skills. It will be a valuable tool.
