In our Title I school, many of our scholars have never had supplies like this before. Many had never used colored pencils before or had their own crayons before September.It is easy to understand how important these supplies are.It is easy to understand how they can be used so quickly--not carelessly--but with love and passion and fervor.  By contributing to this project you help the tiny hands of great minds continue to dream, plan, and create. In my class, we play and build to learn so with the start of a new year and new semester we need new supplies to replace those in our well-loved table caddies and shelves. Our crayons are our treasures, currently tiny and broken. Pencils are well-used nubs without erasers, leaving scholars asking "what happens when I make a mistake?" Cleaning supplies are a necessity, not only to continue to thrive during Michigan's cold and flu season, but also to keep up our daily routine of Clean-Up Crew at the end of the day, learning responsibility for ourselves and our environment. With your donation, we will continue to play and learn our way through 2020, and finish out this monumental academic year in the strong manner it was begun!
