I am working to create an environment around our Guided Reading table that will provide many different options for seating. It is important that students students can choose what works best for them. Giving students choice gives them a voice in their learning. I am hoping to improve their ability to stay focused and increase their motivation to learn. The stools I chose allow movement, but the rubber bottom provides a quiet experience, so as not to disturb those with sensory issues. I strive to provide choice in ALL aspects of our classroom, even in their everyday seating options! Thank you for taking the time to read about my project and helping my students to gain these chairs in our "daily home".
