My students are bright and thoughtful 2nd graders. I am a self contained 2nd grade teacher. I begin all my lessons on the carpet for a direct teach. An easel will positively impact the instruction in my classroom. This will allow all students' the opportunity to watch me model without blocking their view and allow for them to hear my thinking clearly as I teach. Reader and Writer's Workshop is an important part of my daily instruction. I have many anchor charts that I create and refer back to on a daily basis. Having the anchor charts stored on the easel will help drive instruction and access to the charts.
