These books will be a great addition to my small group reading library. I will use them while providing explicit phonics instruction to small groups of students during our reading center time. With these new books, my students will be able to read fun stories, while also focusing on the phonics skills they are learning in class. They will also be able to choose books to take home that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability at an early age is to learn to decode and develop strong phonics skills, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing growth in decoding and phonics, and this project will only help improve their phonics and reading skills, while giving them fun stories to read.
