My classroom does not have a smart board nor can the school provide one. I do have a laptop connected to an off center wall mounted flat screen TV. Not all of my students can easily see the TV making it difficult and frustrating for them when viewing power points and videos. I frequently have students move from their desks to set on the floor in front of the TV to better see the presentations. Having to do this makes note taking frustrating and increases classroom management challenges. Student learning would be significantly enhanced by using a video projector and pull down screen.
