The "Marble Run" building kits and the "Gears and Gizmos" set will allow students of all ages and ability levels to problem solve and think critically as the build and create structures and designs to solve tasks. These kits will allow my students to be creative and develop valuable reasoning skills when we cannot be outside. Students need to know that they can have fun, learn and be creative without a screen in front of their face. My students spend too much time in front of screens. When the weather does not permit the use of the outdoor learning center, theses kits will be a great alternative that the students will enjoy. One very important reason for purchasing seven of each kit, is that it allows me to group students in much smaller groups. In groups of 2 or 3 there is much less chance of a student not participating.
