We do our best to meet the individual needs of our students. In kindergarten many students have a difficult time sitting in chairs to do their work. For many, this can hinder their work completion and focus. Many students would benefit from being able to bounce/wiggle while they work at their tables. These chairs would be so beneficial for our students who can't sit still! For some students it is due to their age, while others have more serious issues such as ADHD ( hyperactivity disorder) We are a low income school and do not have funds to provide these chairs for our students. To be honest, having one of these chairs per student (24) would help all of our kindergarten students. I have 6 tables in my classroom. With 6 chairs I could put 1 chair at each table. I would choose the students who need them most.
