Flexible seating is a growing trend in classrooms today. Research shows students cannot focus if they are uncomfortable in their desks. Kindergarten students should not be expected to sit at a desk for many hours in a day. Kindergarten is a crucial year where students make decisions about how they feel in school. I want my students to have the best learning experiences possible to foster a LOVE of learning! The beanbag chairs, wobble stools, and lap desks will give the many options for places to sit. These flexible seating options will give my students more opportunities to move around the room and find the best way for them to work!
