A new library will give my kids the opportunity to visit new places and submerge themselves in new journeys through literature. My students are very passionate about reading. They are also very competitive when they read. We have an AR reading challenge taking place in the classroom. They would love new books! Reading levels in my classroom range from 0.5 to 5.6. This means my lowest student is reading at a kindergarten level and my highest student at almost a sixth grade level. I want to create a library that challenges and inspires my students to read. The more they read, the better they get at reading and comprehending.
