We are beginning our second unit of study in Literacy. We will be learning about the Westward Expansion. Our grade will be using Ranger in Time, Rescue on the Oregon Trail as a read aloud. Our school has only provided us with a teacher's copy. We would like our students to be able to follow along and reread the text at home, therefore we are requesting one for each student. We feel that they would learn better if they had the text in front of them. We will be discussing the book and having it in front of them allows them to return back to the book to look for evidence to support their ideas.

About my class
