Giving my students access to flexible seating options will help increase their focus and success when completing assignments. The variety of seating options will allow them a comfortable space to complete their assignments. Students would be able to choose between 3" deluxe foam square cushions that can be moved around the room to complete assignments with partners, an exercise stability yoga ball that can be placed at whatever desk or table they are working at, and a Big Joe bean bag that can provide a comfortable place to read and complete work. My students crave a comfortable and inviting space to complete their work, and flexible seating will provide them with that! These seats will allow my students to feel "at home" while they are at school. My students crave structure and routine in their chaotic schedules. Providing an inviting, comfortable, and unique environment for them to complete their work will ensure their success and ability to focus and stay engaged.
