Every time whiteboards were used in my class, students were willing to try harder and that is why I am introducing it this year for all Do Nows and to orchestrate classroom discussions. Compasses are of great importance in my geometry class, it allows my students to prove the fundamental theorems of Geometry in the same way Euclid the godfather of Geometry did. This will help my students not only have a conceptual understanding of geometric theorems but also prepare them for their end of year state exams. The polygons and geometric mirrors are going to give my students the opportunity to learn transformations hands-on rather than abstractly. The products that I selected are going to impact 300 students to change their perceptions of Geometry in my class and math in general. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention, focus and participation, but you will also help change their mindset of math as a boring subject and increase their academic achievement.
