Children need to move! There are high expectations for our students to focus and learn and pay attention, but their little bodies just want to wiggle. These wobble stools are the perfect answer! While sitting in a small group, children will have to use their core muscles to sit up and balance. Keeping their bodies moving will help them focus on their reading and/or math tasks within their group, without getting antsy and distracted. They'll be getting physical activity without even realizing it and learning at the same time. These stools encourage children to get their energy out in a productive, appropriate way while being able to complete work. My second graders will love these, and they will especially be helpful for my most fidgety, struggling readers.
