So many students struggle to understand the concepts of Math. Most of my student's have parents that have a fear of Math and are unable to help them at home. It is my hope to bring some fun, hands on experiences, to help them become more engaged and increase understanding on mathematical concepts. Engaging projects reduce the fear of Math and make it meaningful. When students use manipulatives such as connecting cubes, place value blocks and pattern blocks it gives meaning to their learning. If there is meaning to their learning they are more likely to learn and retain the information.

About my class
