Getting speakers for my class will help my students calm and focus on their material and drown out the distractions of their personal lives. It will also allow me to show math raps and videos. They will be able to watch and hear the in school video programming. I have home made videos that when they hear them (math raps) they help them to memorize some of the material that needs to be quickly recalled. Scientific calculators are the only calculator allowed in dual enrollment. They are not allowed to use a graphing calculator like the math teachers have. This will keep the students from having to buy them. They have already had to spend money on their class. These materials will help students during school.
