Students come to school with issues many teachers may know nothing about. Home life can be difficult and stressful, due to a broken family or just rigors of daily life. Then, a student has to come to school to learn. When a student has a disability, school can also provide another obstacle in their life. The pressures of home and school can become overwhelming to a student, but these Comfy Couches will assist in providing a positive learning environment can help to ease some of that stress. Students will become overwhelmed at school and need a break. Creating a Safe Space for students to go to and relax is a vital part of a positive learning environment. My students will enjoy having a relaxing space to unwind and take a break.
