These chromebooks will be an extension of our reading program in the classroom to give our students the opportunity to be successful. With these chromebooks located in our classroom it will give the students the access at any time to work online on the programs our school uses to prepare our students for the Mississippi state tests and for science research in the classroom. Students will be able to use the chromebooks when they have completed assignments during independent work time that will cut back on free time that leads to classroom distractions and disruptions. Students may make better choices while working so they may have the opportunity to use a chromebook. It will also give them option to work at their desks and not have to go to another classroom or computer lab to work on their online programs. I have seen the option of computer use as a positive effect on their school work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help my students grow even more. The document camera will give me the ability to model strategies we want our students to use on their class work and to be able to quickly show students activities we will be working on that day.
