Students will be able to engage with research projects accessing books and information, lending to experience with 21st technology they will need to be familiar with for the future. They will also have opportunities to explore and read about different experiences, cultures, and adventures in stories beyond what is available in our classroom library. Today's society is changing, and the interests of our classroom-resident explorers reflect this. Different parts of the world open up for my struggling readers when they can interact with books that come alive in front of them using technology. With these tablets, they will be able to gain experience how to properly and safely use this technology appropriately to gain knowledge beyond the walls of our classroom to gain an understanding how they can help change the world.

About my class
