My students are mostly low income and have come to me with the want to start an E-Gaming league in our high school. I have anywhere from 10-30 kids are interested in this. Some of them have PC's and are able to participate on their own. Many others however cannot. My hope is to provide for these students district run gaming PC's that can help them achieve their goals. I am already applying for grants to purchase the PC's themselves. Now we just need the accessories. Mice, monitors, headsets, and the like. By having your support these students will have the ability to be apart of a team environment that they may not otherwise have available to them. We will be partnered with the High School E-Sports League (a link will be provided below). They will provide the students a multi-state league to game with and compete in. They provide gear and shirts, and are sponsored through the streaming site twitch. Not only will this allow them to be apart of a team, there is also many scholarships attached to this. Many colleges throughout the states are providing scholarships for students to attend school and e-game. Your support will allow these students such an opportunity that they may not otherwise have.
