Agriscience counts as a lab science for student graduation requirements in the state of TN. As such, I am working diligently to add more scientific research to the regular agriculture classroom. I have access to microscopes and materials for students to conduct research using soil, plants, cells, and more. The students need lab tables so, individually and in groups, they can conduct experiments for their standards-based science research. These tables will allow students to set up their materials, tools, and equipment to conduct agricultural experiments the same as they would in a biology or chemistry class. Our students learn theory by seeing it in action. The tables will allow us space to do this.
