These materials will give more students to opportunity to learn how to use technology for educational fun instead of just gaming. These materials will also allow the students to experience skills that will be beneficial for their futures. For example, the Amazon Fire devices will allow students to hear podcast and engage them in learning how to create their own podcasts about topics they enjoy. The 3-d printer will give the students applied technology skills that will be carried with them throughout their educational careers. My students are technologically savvy, but they lack application skills, or k the know how to apply what they see into their own future. My hope is that these students will learn skills that will stay with them and help them realize what they can do w outside of school.
