Mrs. Huxta's and Mrs. D'Addesio's 4th grade classes are comprised of 60 delightfully inquisitive children. We are a Title 1, urban school in southern New York with a large percentage of English Language Learners. We need the trade books required by the Engage NY Common Core Curriculum. Learning about the world in an intellectual way is a difficult task for any student, but without the basic books, it is so much more difficult without the basics that other children are provided. Imagine what our students could achieve with their success: a new level of self confidence, motivation, creativity, critical thinking will develop and these skills will be instilled within them for the rest of their lives. These are the skills we want to provide our students and with your help, this dream can come true. Thank you for your generosity.
