My students come to school every day ready to learn and put forth the effort to be a better contributing citizen for our society. As they learn the necessary skills to succeed in their future academics, they also love hands-on learning across all subjects. I love to see their growth as lifelong learners in their academic journey. I want to find avenues to foster their literacy growth, as this is an important component of a successful education. This goes hand in hand with classroom management, as I am always looking for strategies to genuinely engage the students in learning. I also want to incorporate meaningful ways to introduce science and social studies concepts in order for students to be lifelong learners. Materials for stronger family engagement are also an important part of my instruction as it aids in increases in student achievement. Trust and safety is a necessary and important part of academic success.
