We are currently in need of a classroom library. It is my hope that this will encourage my students to read more, and in doing so, will help them become stronger readers and writers. Not only will these books expose my students to a variety of experiences and genres, but they will also help them discover the joys of reading. At the moment, my students do not have a lot of choice in what they read. However, once we have a classroom library, I will be able to implement silent sustained reading and literature circles into our classroom sessions. I truly believe that this will benefit and empower my struggling students while also pushing my advanced students forward.

About my class
