Libraries are a place for sparking wonder, searching for information and exploring new ideas. Gone are the days where school libraries are only used to check in and out books. Today, many libraries contain a MakerSpace area where the students are able to explore and build STEAM projects. I plan to incorporate STEAM standards into my library lessons. One way of doing this is to teach my students coding. Coding helps develop the students’ language and express their creativity. The donations to the project will help build the students’ understanding of coding robots. My students will use iPads to program the robots to move and dance. They will need to learn how to move these robots in various directions by playing with the code feature. Next, we can build an obstacle course and maneuver the robots
