A sensory diet is a treatment that can help kids with sensory processing issues. Students with disabilities often have sensory processing issues. This means they need items that assist in overcoming these issues. The swing pod will allow the students to relax when they are overstimulated by their environments. While items such as the body sock and the therapy puddy can help with fine motor skills and allow students with ADHD to constructively fidget. My students need help learning and learn in different ways than most! These items will allow them to be successful in an environment where they may not always be able too.
