An authentic experience is needed when learning and doing science. I would enjoy and love to have my students in the lab (in the back part of my room). Many students are curious and want to have hands-on experiences. The lack of seats has discouraged me to place the students in the lab because the constant request to sit. These metal stools would be easily stored underneath the lab tables and easy to move, stack, and maintain clean. Students need to have the science lab experience from grade school so their interest and passion grows. As a middle school student myself, my parents pushed to to attend a special interest program in our district where many resources we available. Being that their is only one middle school in this district, I would like to offer my students the best 7th grade science education I can, one that is closest to the one scientist have in laboratories.
