My students need iPads to increase scores in math. This year state testing will be done on the computer. Students have to practice in different ways to answer the questions from multiple choice to graphing on the coordinates plane and short responses. Using the iPads will prepare my students for this major test. My school is short of computers and the district is using a computer-based program in math. Each student has completed the lessons online. Some students do not have access to computer at home. With the iPads in class, this will allow everyone the opportunity to help students succeed in math. Students love the fact that using devices, I can give immediate feedback and collaborate digitally. My students will now be on the same digital playing field as so many other students in the district. Today students love technology, especially if used in math.
