The project was conceived to fulfill my wish for our school to have flexible seating options. Flexible seating has been shown to improve focus, attentiveness, and sensory input for students in the classroom. After gathering information on our specific needs from teachers and students, we decided it was best for each classroom to have several options to choose from. Teachers can tailor these option to their classroom and student needs. We chose for each classroom to have wobble stools, stability balls, stability cushions, headphones, and chair bands. Thank you for granting my wish Fiesta Bowl Wishes for Teachers! Desert Willow is excited to have this opportunity that will support our students in special education and in general education.
