My high school students disabilities deeply affect their reading abilities. All of my students read between 1st -5th grade levels. Because their Virtual Public Schools courses are all online, they need to use headphones to hear instruction and listen to text read aloud. The headphones we have are falling apart. At the end of each day, I find flakes of our current headphones on my student's desks. Sometimes the flakes are stuck to their ears, and students who cannot afford to bring in their own headphones are stuck with these old crumbling sets. Help me increase my students' comfort and confidence, so they can focus on learning!
