After attending a professional development that focused on incorporating technology in reading and writing, I want to be able to provide my students with an opportunity to use some amazing apps and products while in the classroom. Most of the apps and ideas would require students to be able to access the camera on the iPad to scan QR codes and snap pictures to collect text evidence. Access to tech in the classroom will help my students connect with the world in new ways. The skills needed to use the iPad are critical for everyday life in our tech-focused world! Air dropping materials, snapshotting graphic organizers, communicating with their parents via a digital portfolio, are some of the ways I want to teach my students to utilize the iPad!
