According to the National Council of Teachers of English, classroom libraries play a key role in providing access to books and promoting literacy; they have the potential to increase student motivation, engagement, and achievement. I think it is important for students to have access to a variety of genres and titles in the classroom. When books are available on a daily basis, a culture of literacy develops. Students are able to grab books off the shelf to read, to recommend, or to discuss. Having additional book titles in our classroom will create better readers, better writers, and better critical thinkers
