I was hired to teach a Video Production class at a junior high school.
Once I started work I find out that we only have two video cameras that use C-VHS tapes. And two tripods that are missing parts like the quick disconnect base. Unfortunately, it takes too long to download the videotapes content to a computer file. My students need a digital video camera and Gimbal to help them create video shorts, online video, class videos, school news, school PSAs’, etc.
By donating to this project, you will not only help to improve and increase student learning experience on how to operate and use a Canon VIXIA HF R800 to help them to produce a video.
Once students have filmed their story or project students will then edit the file in Adobe Premiere CC by adding effects and transitions captions and titles for what they have created.
The video production will give my students the opportunity to create instructional and storytelling videos that can be used in future learning and/or instructional.
This will be extremely beneficial for students that have never had the opportunity to tape and edit videos at a near professional experience as possible.
These projects they create will have a great impact on what their future could hold.
