I am hoping to help my little ones the best way I know how. I have many that continue to fall out of their chairs, put blocks in their mouths, and rolls around on the ground during story times and lessons. Many of these students have ADHD, and have benefitted from using the one lap pad that is shared in our entire school. I saw what using that lap pad did for my students, and knew I had to reach out to see if I could get those tools for my classroom. The weighted lap pads, chewing necklaces, chair bands, and hand held fidgets will help my students who struggle to focus become even better learners. I have seen it work, and coming from a background in special education I see the benefits of what these tools can do. I know my students felt better when using the one lap pad I was able to borrow, and I am hoping with the other tools it will be more resources for my students to grow! I would love nothing more than to have all my students have the tools they need to succeed. These items would absolutely help make that a possibility!
