I will use these activities in my classroom during station time to allow my students the opportunity to work with each other and build skills. My students will also use these items while working with students from other classrooms, in order to work on social interactions. Combining principals of teamwork with educational outcomes will work on the social skills my students need to develop in order to become productive members of the school community. Many of my students struggle to stay engaged in typical classroom learning enviornments. With these materials they will be able to interact in a different way not only with the academic standards needed to succeed but also with their peers.
