21st technology will give my students more of an opportunity to be more successful. My students are motivated by being given the chance to learn skills/concepts in various ways. My students LOVE being given the opportunity to use technology in my classroom. They use LEXIA in my classroom to reinforce Reading/ELA concepts. They absolutely enjoy when they meet their goals and obtain a certificate stating their progress. Their faces light up when they see the gains they have made! My students also use Zearn and XtraMath to reinforce math concepts/skills. XtraMath helps them master their addition/subtraction facts. Zearn is a curriculum based instruction using technology. Having iPads would greatly impact the learning in my classroom. It would allow some of my students to use them on a daily basis. Some of my students do not have technology at home, so their only opportunity is at school.
