I am the computer science teacher for K-5 elementary. I want to use robots to motivate students to learn to code. Students learn by asking questions and solving problems. The Lego WEDO robots do not tell students what to do. Students need to use their engineering skills to figure out how to solve the problems presented. Students will use the WEDO software to help them put together the robots. Students will have hands-on activities using WEDO Lego robots and software. They can learn by problem-solving, exploring and creating. These important skills are part of the STEM skills needed for science and math.
