My kindergarten through 5th grade students come to the Media Center immediately before or after they are in the gym for physical education. Oftentimes, they have a desire to move or their bodies need some calming down to help them prepare to learn about technology and literature during Library Media Class. Cycling Stations in the Media Center will work students' minds and bodies so that they are better able to learn and grow as readers and users of technology. By releasing some of their physical energy, they will have stronger self-control, increasing focus and their ability to learn. Students would be working their brains and bodies on the cycling stations, as they'd often be looking at a book or resource while moving their legs and feet, to increase physical and mental learning.
