Right now our maker-space is pretty anemic as the materials we have came out-of-pocket for me: a cardboard Virtual Reality viewer, coloring books with markers and color pencils, along with a few games and puzzles. Our kids are so motivated by hands-on creating, we need a defined space and materials for them to exercise their creativity during the day and after school. The goal is to reward students who are doing the right thing or get ahead on work with Maker Break passes to the library to visit our Maker Space. The 3D Printer Pens would be the perfect addition. More materials would also give students a productive place to go for safe after-school activities. Help us help them!
