Having a high quality printer with high quality ink in the classroom will be a game changer. Whether used for center activities, homework assignments, brightly colored art work, school flyers, game boards for literacy groups and comprehension activities, creating puzzles for word building.....anything paper related, these products will be used and will be used often. I am finding myself choosing activities for the class that aren't as meaningful or art projects that don't require the same type of printing and paper because of the high cost of printing, especially on cardstock. I have been wanting to create more art projects and comprehension games for learning centers on card stock, but creating these games require money, print shops, and time with middle men that have prevented me from being able to fully implement the things I have hoped to bring to the class. So many beautiful art projects can be done and done often simply by having access to a convenient, quality printer and having quality paper. Printing on card stock might not sound like a huge deal, but it is! I have been really wanting these items and am itching for the chance to bring these things to the class more consistently than I have been able to in the past.
