Our community based special education class is in need of some items to help us teach life skills and to create a sensory area for these students. These skills are a crucial part of education for children with special needs to prepare them for the day-to-day challenges of participating in their community and workplace, and feeling independent at home. When we begin teaching these skills at a young age, we provide them with a better chance of being successful in the future. If you would like to help our classroom, we would be very grateful. We are in need of a washer and a dryer. We are also in need of cooking supplies: such as a cook top, an over, mixing bowls, and other cooking supplies. Any help would be appreciated.
