My 4th graders are avid readers and are constantly looking for books of different genres to read. Unfortunately my school does not have the funds to update my library. Having the tablets gives them opportunity to read in school books they can't find in my library. There are so many assessment apps and education apps I can incorporate to keep track of their academics, challenge them beyond the textbooks, allow them to conduct research and that can help me guide my instruction. My students will be able to use the tablets not just for reading, academics, research, and assessment and have fun at the same time!
