The drying rack is a much needed piece of equipment for our art room that will safely and properly store students' artwork while it is drying. The drying rack has spring tension to hold up the shelves as the students place their wet work on each shelf. This is a major factor in safety of the student and their artwork. The artwork on the shelves will remain there and not slip down the back or off the side as students use this rack. Students only need to gently push down a shelf to be able to place their artwork upon it. The shelves are horizontal which will prevent any liquid substance to run off the paper like the drying racks that have slanted shelves. This rack will hold 200 hundred 9 X 12 pieces or 100 12 X 18 pieces, allowing me to teach painting to all classes in a day. I will be able to have students create the most fun and much loved painted paper for collage projects! All the artwork will be in one place, safe and secure compared to now as I would not be able to do painted paper, or would need to put the artwork outside on the ground.
