Many of my students have asked to be able to play the saxophone, but sadly very few of them have been able to. This is because we lack the materials needed for all the students to be able to play. I have seen their expressions change when they are playing, and I know the joy that playing jazz brings them. I wish to spread this joy to other students by allowing more of them to play the saxophone, as some of their friends are already able to do. Music is an amazing and creative way for these children to express themselves and release stress from day to day life. If we were to get these three saxophones, we would finally be able to create a jazz band. Many of the students have expressed that they have always wanted our school to have one. However, the school has only been able to provide two and I must bring my own. As you can imagine, three saxophones are not enough for a jazz band. With your donations, we would be able to make the jazz band dream come true!
