These over-the-ear headphones will help STEM education students focus and take advantage of audio options on our Chromebooks. Beginning readers and students who are new to the English language will benefit from auditory and translation tools. My students who have hearing impairments and autism can use the headphones to block out ambient noise. An important part of meeting all needs in the STEM classroom is to allow students to use computers to access materials in a variety of ways, including auditory. Our Chromebooks provide options to translate into many languages and have text to speech options that help younger students and those with special needs access materials. Students will be reading articles and watching videos for research as well as playing games to increase math skills. Headphones are a must in a busy classroom! All students will focus better and enjoy their learning more if we can provide headphones!
