Students need to be able to research and explore the world around them. Taking concepts that are relevant to them and giving them the means to delve into the science behind them opens up their minds to new ideas. Our superhero themed classroom can have great scientific meaning after learning about the science behind Batman and Superman. Being able to create and manipulate electrical circuits will help students have a deeper concept of how electricity moves and works. And finally, the measurement game can help students identify, convert, and apply this topic to real world problems that they will face in our steam classroom and in their world.

About my class
